Wooden plugs, branch plugs
Product
Wood plugs are made of branches. They typically have the concentric growth ring layout on the top of the plug, imitating the natural knot. Branch wood plugs are produced in sizes: from 15 to 40 mm diameter, 5, 7 or 9 mm height, bevelled from one side, pine or spruce. In order to maintain the proper fitting, the diameter of the plug is enlarged from 0.2 to 0.4 m.
The advantage of applying the plugs, apart from mending the damage, is the possibility to incorporate them into the damaged space so the natural wood pattern can be sustained. The shape of the plug makes it impossible to slide out, even in difficult operating conditions.
